Janice "Jazzy" Crowe
Janice “Jazzy” Crowe, 60, of Summit Street, Salamanca, New York died Saturday evening, April 25, 2015 at the Pines Health and Rehab, Olean, New York, following a short illness.
Born March 30, 1955 in Olean, New York, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Shirley Jimerson Crowe.
Janice was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Wolf Clan.
She had attended Salamanca High School.
She had been employed with Seneca Gaming and Entertainment as the Concessions Supervisor, and was employed there for over 23 years. Janice enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time at Allegany State Park and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: a daughter, Patricia (Mark Campbell) Crowe, Olean, NY; Janice’s partner of eighteen years, Chris Barlow, Salamanca, NY; a brother, Virgil Crowe, Salamanca, NY; four granddaughters, Shaylee Wilder, Olean, NY, Courtney Wilder, Salamanca, NY, Emily Wilder, Olean, NY, Amy Campbell, Olean, NY; a grandson, Alden Wilder, Olean, NY; a niece, Gracie Crowe, Salamanca, NY.
Friends may attend memorial visitation at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 10 – 11 a.m., at which time a memorial service will be held with Rev. Marvin Abrams, pastor of Jimersontown Presbyterian Church, officiating.
